WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU DONATE
Your donation is allocated.
Zakat to recipients eligible to receive it, restricted donations to their project, general donations to where the need is greatest that week.
It is converted to supplies.
Purchased as locally as possible — it costs less, it arrives faster, and it supports the economy of the community we are serving.
It is delivered.
By our partner’s field team, working with local networks who know which families have been missed.
It is reported.
Delivery records go into our reporting, which is published and available to you on request.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Wisal Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, EIN 39-2462083. You receive a receipt by email immediately, and an annual summary in January.
How much of my donation reaches the field?
Every donation carries the payment processing fee charged by our payment provider, currently 2.9% plus $0.30 per card donation. Zakat donations carry nothing else. General donations also carry up to 12% towards operations. Everything else goes to beneficiaries. Read our Zakat & Donation Policy.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed over an encrypted connection. We never store your card details.
Can I cancel a monthly donation?
Yes, at any time. Email info@wisalfoundation.org and we will cancel it. No explanation needed.
Can I donate in someone’s name?
Yes — including on behalf of someone who has passed away. After you donate, email the name to info@wisalfoundation.org and we will note it.
